Once appropriate data sources have been identified data analysis for the first report will be undertaken. This report will be available in April 2003. This report will contain the data, definitions for the indicators, the results of the analysis of asthma-related disease levels, burden, and trends for the general population and specific population groups. The report will also examine social, geographical and environmental differentials that may influence the risk of developing asthma and the burden of asthma.
